Pharmacogenomics (PGx)
Pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing assesses how the body reacts to medications using the combined knowledge of pharmacology and genomics. With PGx testing, a participant’s complete regimen is reviewed to evaluate both their drug-gene and multi-drug interactions, as well as phenoconversions. Based on test results, pharmacists complete interventions to ensure that participants’ medications are safe and working best for them.
