Knowlton, PharmD, MBA received the CEO Report “Mid-Atlantic Women’s Leadership Award” at a gala ceremony held October 10, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA. In 2009, Ms. Knowlton co-founded TRHC, a healthcare technology company advancing the field of medication safety.

The women selected are trailblazers in business and truly stand out for being passionate about philanthropy and inspiring up and coming leaders.” Winners are selected based on criteria including their companies’ growth and dedication to giving back to the community.
Since the Company’s founding, Dr. Knowlton and the TRHC team now serve over 25% of the PACE market (Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) and provide interventions for high-risk individual members of Part D plans representing approximately 15% of the total number of Medicare lives.
Active in her community, Dr. Knowlton serves as Trustee, Executive Committee Secretary, and Chair of the Governance Committee for Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, Marlton, NJ. She is in her 10th year of service at Samaritan, and has been on numerous other non-for-profit boards as trustee or advisor, including as a charter member of the Impact 100 South Jersey Community Foundation.
Having spent her career moving innovation into practice, Dr. Knowlton’s recent publications which she co-authored include: “Implementation of a Pharmacist-led Pharmacogenomics Service for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly” and, “Implementation of a Standardized Medication Therapy Management Plus Approach within Primary Care”.
Dr. Knowlton is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and a member of the American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, Women Business Leaders of the Healthcare Industry Foundation and WomenCorporateDirectors.
Dr. Knowlton received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences School of Pharmacy. She is a graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business Executive MBA program.
