The Board of Commissioners of the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy has chosen Kevin T. Bain of Delanco, New Jersey to fill a vacancy on the Board resulting from a resignation by a Board member. Dr. Bain is Vice President, Medication Risk Mitigation for Tabula Rasa HealthCare. In that role, he oversees the company’s proprietary Medication Risk Mitigation (MRM) platform and leads applied pharmacogenomics to personalize and optimize the selection and use of medications for patients with complex medication needs at risk for medication misadventuring.
Dr. Bain is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (CGP). He has 15 years’ experience in geriatric and palliative care. He has authored and co-authored more than 25 manuscripts, newsletters, and book chapters and has publicly presented at dozens of local, regional, and national venues.
Dr. Bain received his Bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. In 2009, he received his Masters of Public Health degree from Drexel University. He is also a Certified Public Health (CPH) professional.

The Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (CCGP) is a nonprofit corporation created by the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) in 1997. CCGP offers a board certification examination in geriatric pharmacy practice. CCGP is autonomous from ASCP, with its own governing Board of Commissioners, and is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
